Congratulations Joe!! Joe Eways will be receiving the Red Ribbon Leadership Award for St. Ignatius School. He will represent our school at the Annual Superintendents’ Red Ribbon Leadership Award Ceremony, sponsored by the Drug Education Council, on October 12, 2011. Joe will also serve as our Student Ambassador for all of our Red Ribbon Week activities.
Leadership is Our Responsibility! The Drug Education Council is asking each school to sponsor a Red Ribbon initiative called “Leadership is Our Responsibility” in addition to our regular Red Ribbon activities. During Red Ribbon Week, St. Ignatius School will be collecting items for the 2B Choices for Women Center. Please bring the following items to school during Red Ribbon Week:

All students will receive goodies and stickers to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Students may wear silly socks with their uniform. |

Tuesday, Oct. 25

“Put a Cap on Drugs”
|
Students may wear crazy hats with their uniform. Hats must be removed while in the classrooms and inside buildings. |

Wed., Oct. 26 |
“Stay in the Game, Be Drug Free”
|
Students may wear their favorite team jersey over their uniform. Teams must be collegiate, professional, McGill-Toolen or St. Ignatius. |

Thursday, Oct. 27 |
“I’m a Jean-ius, I’m Drug Free” & McGill-Toolen/Impala Spirit Day
|
Students may come out of uniform if they are wearing jeans with their McGill -Toolen Spirit, Impala Spirit, black, green or yellow shirts. |

Friday, Oct. 28 |
“I Pledge to be Drug Free” |
Students may wear their red ribbons with their uniforms. |
