St. Ignatius Catholic School

YOUNG AUTHORS’ CONFERENCE INFORMATION

The Young Authors’ Conference scheduled for Feb. 11 is an opportunity for children in grades 2-5 to become published authors, to hear from an outstanding author, and to write for the fun of it!  All students who submit a piece of writing along with the registration form, which can be downloaded from the school’s main web page, will receive a copy of this year’s anthology containing the writings of all students who have submitted work.  This is not a contest, but rather, an opportunity for students to showcase their best achievements!

All writing is due by Jan. 16 and must be submitted digitally, either via email or preferably as a Word document attachment to an email.

This year’s featured author is the renowned Mike Artell (www.mikeartell.com).

Check out writing already submitted at www.metromobilereadingcouncil.wikispaces.com!
