Throughout the year, we will select books to read independently.  For each book the students read, there will be a book project.  Book projects will allow students to focus on specific Alabama Course of Study Standard for English and literature.

Book-in-a-Bag: Students will analyze several literary elements found in self-selected novels. 

Storyboard for a Disney Movie: Students will analyze the plot line of a self-selected novel.
