 K-3 uniform requirements:  Students in grades K-3 do not dress out.  Every day they are required to bring tennis 

shoes that fit properly and can be tightened by laces or velcro.  Please check the laces periodically to make sure they still fit 

through the holes and can be tied.  Girls wear solid green shorts under their skirts.

4-5 grade class requirements:  (dressing out, participation, cooperation)

Students in grades 4-5 dress out every day in the same uniform that the older student wear (also, purchased at Rick's). 

6-8th grade criteria and requirements: (dressing out, participation, class projects, 

cooperation)

30% of the grade comes from dressing out  

Dressing out is...

Wearing the required P.E. uniform every day.  The uniform is purchased at Rick's Sporting Goods.  It is a green jersey and solid green shorts.  Last name printed on the back, first name in the neck of the jersey.  First and last name in the shorts and shoes.  Numbers are not needed.

Having tennis shoes that fit, are clean, and will tie so that shoes are not loose.
Having jerseys, shorts and/or shoes that were not be taken or borrowed from classmates with or without permission.

Tennis shoes must be worn in order to participate!  Notes concerning misplaced, dirty, or, 

forgotten uniforms are not accepted.  Students are required to bring shorts and a t-shirt (shirts 

must follow the acceptable dress code policy).  

 Warm-ups and sweat suits are expected on those days when the temperature drops.  Hunting fatigues

 and flannel loungewear are not allowed.  P.E. uniforms are still to be worn underneath.*  

                         If tennis shoes are used other than at school, make sure they are free of grit.  

                                                Grit  works on the floor like sandpaper!!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Students are not excused from participation except in the case of illness, injury, or absence.  A note from the doctor, parent, or 

teacher must accompany the student.  In the case of an extended illness or injury, I will need a release note stating to what 

extent the student may participate.  If there is a chronic problem (asthma, orthopedic concerns…), please let me know so that 

we can work something out.

Being on time to class
Dressing out and wearing tennis shoes
Working positively with classmates when playing games
Participating without grumbling, whining, or complaining
Following the game rules and directions 
Following class rules and procedures
Following the student PE Class "Bill of Rights"
