 | Modesty
in dress, action, gesture, and speech is required at all times.

 | Respect
for others is mandatory.

 | Food
and drinks are not allowed in PE class (including gum, mints, etc…)

 | Students
wear the required PE uniform purchased from Rick’s Sporting Goods.
|
 | Students
coming to class late must have a late note from the teacher.
|
 | Only
students detained by PE teachers or aides will receive a late note to the
next class.
|
 | Students
are expected to participate every day. |
 | Student must provide a written
note to be excused from P.E. (illness or injury). |
 | If the illness is to be
over 3 days, a doctors’ note is required.
|
 | Upon return from extended illness or injury, written permission is
required before the student can resume participation.
Modifications or exceptions should be included in the note.
|
 | Phone
calls are only allowed in the case of illness or injury.
|
 | Students
may only leave class with permission.
|
 | Students
may enter my office only with permission.
|
 | Equipment
may be brought out of the locker room only with permission.
|
 | Any
school rule or procedure found in the parent/student handbook applies to
physical education class. |
 | Behavior
that interrupts the flow of teaching and learning is not allowed. |
 | Behavior
that may cause damage to equipment, locker rooms, or any area related to PE
class is not permitted.

 | Students
enter and exit class through the stage door
|
 | Students
change in the locker rooms. School
uniforms and/or PE bags are to be hung on assigned hooks with shoes placed
side by side under the benches
|
 | Students
have 5 minutes to dress out/in and be in their designated area and will be marked
tardy, thereafter. |
 | Students coming to
class late will either place their late slip from the teacher in the late
slip bag or fill in the late sheet |
 | Students wearing
incomplete uniforms will fill in the uniform sheet |
 | After dressing out
all students are to either jog on the gym or jog around the field.
Depending on where their class meets

 | When
coming off the field, students are required to leave their shoes outside the
door to the stage.
|
 | A rapid succession of blown whistle signifies class attention is needed. Class stops and
waits for directions. |
 | A whistle
blown 3 times signals the end of class. Play stops, equipment is put away,
and students dress in.
|
 | At the end of class students are to get water, dress back
in, and exit the stage door.
