Welcome to a new year at St. Ignatius!

Hopefully, you'll get some information that will help you with any questions you 

may have about Physical Education.

The first day of physical education class is Wednesday August 13.  Each student 

should receive information on what is needed to be ready for P.E.  We will begin 

dressing out on Thursday, August 14.  

I'm excited about the new archery program!  Thanks to Mr. McLaney for his hard 

work and enthusiasm in getting the ball rolling.  Archery will be offered to students 

in grades 6-8 and add a new dimension to the class. .

Cross country practice begins Thursday August 14.  Boys and girls in grades 5 

and 6 are invited to participate.   

Check the web page concerning grading criteria, policies, procedures, or 

anything else you may want to know about St. Ignatius Physical Education.

My goal for the year is to have to students "do their

best to be their best"

Reminders- you are ready for P.E. if...          

Your PE uniform in good shape and it fits                              

You have your tennis shoes and they fit                                  

Your laces and/or velcro are the right length and they work 

You have a bag that will not tear to carry your PE things     

Your name on all articles of your clothing (PE and school)   

Students bringing notes concerning forgotten, lost, or dirty PE uniforms 

are not excused. Students must bring a change of clothing and tennis 

shoes for Physical Education class in order to participate. Please, only 

solid deodorant!
