· Modesty in dress, action, gesture, and speech is required at all times. 

· Respect for others is mandatory.

· Food and drinks are not allowed in PE class (including gum, mints, etc…)

· Students wear the required PE uniform purchased from Rick’s Sporting Goods.

· Students coming to class late must have a late note from the teacher.

· Only students detained by PE teachers or aides will receive a late note to te next class.      

· Students are expected to participate every day. 

· Student must provide a written note to be excused from P.E. (illness or injury). 

· If the illness is to be over 3 days, a doctors’ note is required.

· Upon return from extended illness or injury, written permission is required before the student can resume participation.  Modifications or exceptions should be included in the note.

· Phone calls are only allowed in the case of illness or injury.

· Students may only leave class with permission.

· Students may enter my office only with permission.

· Equipment may be brought out of the locker room only with permission.

· Any school rule or procedure found in the parent/student handbook applies to physical education class.

· Behavior that interrupts the flow of teaching and learning is not allowed.

· Behavior that may cause damage to equipment, locker rooms, or any area related to PE class is not permitted.

PE class Procedures

· Students enter and exit class through the stage door

· Students change in the locker rooms.  School uniforms and/or PE bags are to be hung on assigned hooks with shoes placed side by side under the benches  

· Students have 5 minutes to dress
