Text Box: continue to make every effort to get to school on time so that we do not have to report over 3000 tardies for the year like last year. Surely we can do better!
The cutest thing I have heard so far was the young fellow in preschool who, on his first day, thanked me for ringing the bell! His dad said he had been wondering who would ring the bell!
	Stay tuned for more adventures.
Text Box: We have had a great beginning thanks to the efforts of our wonderful teachers. Walking around the very first day as early as 8:30 a.m., every student was listening to every teacher. It almost seemed like we had never left, all was running so smoothly.
It was fun to have Father Martin helping to greet students on our first day. I am grateful that he also did middle school duty Text Box: which allowed me to welcome kindergartners on their first day.
By the time we welcomed preschoolers on the second day of school, we were in to a routine. Please Text Box: School Scoop

Our third goal is to teach organizational skills as they would be appropriate for each Text Box: Each year we must select goals for our accreditation report. One thing we are working on as a school is our handwriting. We will write more legibly, take more pride in our Text Box: work, and learn how to form letters properly.
We have also chosen to increase the time the 7th and 8th graders spend in the computer lab to build on what is learned in KText Box: Saint Ignatius Catholic School
